Beef Burgundy

Yield: Approximately 6 servings
  • consomme (1 can)
  • V-8 juice (1 cup)
  • burgundy wine (1 cup)
  • brown sugar (¼ cup)
  • onion soup (1 can)
  • garlic powder (¼ tsp)
  • celery salt (½ tsp)
  • cornstarch (3 tablespoons)
  • beef cubes (as needed)

Mix above ingredients. Let simmer for at least ½ hour. Thicken with cornstarch. Cut up beef cubes and add. Serve this over rice or noodles.
